- Toastmasters is a money making scheme. It's president makes over $100,000. This is supposed to be a 501c3 charity rather than a money making venture
- Many employees are also members who will try to protect Toastmasters rather than follow policies that protect victims
- Corporate silencing of criticism
- Victims of harassment are not protected. No transparency.
- Sources of harassment are not removed. It is a bully's paradise.
- Annual Conferences are listed as income in tax returns.
- Speech contest cheating.
- Leaders lying during HPL.
- Toastmaster Arizona has a D+ listing at the Better Business Bureau.
- Year long recruiting campaigns, which disqualifies it from being a club (501c7) for tax purposes even though it claims to be a club.
- The Association of Speakers Clubs de-merged from Toastmasters in UK.
- Regular clubs that bring in money are good, and starting gavel clubs for people that do not qualify to join does not bring in money. They are bad. It seems to be all about money
- Do not join Toastmasters

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Tucson Toastmasters (from what I can tell). I'm also Autistic and had an entirely different experience in Toastmasters. I encourage you to find other clubs to try, as your experience with the club you were in isn't what I've seen. You'd be welcome at my club.

The problem was an interclub problem. Corporate was involved and they protected the DTM. I dont trust Toastmasters
